About Us

VeDans

VeDans, located in Kadıköy, was founded by dance instructor Gizem Müftüoğlu and is managed together with Kağan Göztepe. With the belief that people of all ages can dance, it is a dance school that caters to everyone from 7 to 70, offering training in various dance styles. From the Latin fire of Salsa, the passionate dance of Bachata, to Modern Dance where the dancer freely expresses their soul beyond the rules, Hip Hop with its unique culture and lifestyle, Street Jazz - the dance of musicals and Broadway, to Oriental Dance that preserves traditions and captivates with its fluid rhythm, and many other dances born from the harmony of music and aesthetic movement; these have become a tradition, an art form, a means of expression, and even a form of therapy. With the awareness that dancing is part of human nature, we invite everyone who wishes to dance to the VeDans studios.

With our 300 square meter open garden, 100 square meter dance classrooms consisting of 2 halls, and a 30 square meter winter garden, VeDans continues to be both an educational and entertaining social activity space.

Gizem Müftüoğlu

Gizem Müftüoğlu, born in Istanbul, graduated from Saint Benoit French High School and later earned a degree in International Relations from Koç University. After gaining experience in corporate firms, she decided to pursue her passion for dance.

Her first encounter with dance began at the age of 3 when her family took her to a ballet school. She continued her ballet training until her high school years. Later, influenced by a dance film she watched during her university years, she decided to try Latin dances. From 2005 to 2011, she completed her Social Latin Dance training through domestic and international courses and workshops.

In 2011, she founded her own dance school and dance organization company under the name 'VeDans.' VEDANS ACADEMY has been active since 2011.

Moda'daki severek gittiğim dans okulum:) Birçok farklı ders türünü bulacağınız, hocaların ve çalışanların özenli ve işlerini severek yaptıkları, küçük ama dünya tatlısı bir dans okulu. Arka bahçesi cennetten bir köşe gibidir. Fiyatları piyasaya göre makul, derslerde kadın erkek dengesine özen gösteriliyor. Her daim taze çay kahvenin olduğu bir kafesi de var.
