Berkay Çelik was born in 2003 in İzmit, Kocaeli. His introduction to dance began in 2011 at İzmit Dansanat Sports Club. Thanks to his passion for dance from a young age, he quickly stepped onto the stage. In 2017–2018, he represented Turkey on the international stage as a Class B national athlete. Since 2015, he has performed and provided training at dance festivals both domestically and abroad. In 2022, he founded the Lavros Team Salsa Show group within Vedans Dance and Sports Club, taking on both choreography and teaching roles. Starting in 2023, he joined the Cuban Mambo by Emek & Büşra team. He has also taken part in stage performances with artists such as Ajda Pekkan and Aşkın Nur Yengi. Throughout his career, he became a four-time Turkish champion in competitions organized by the Turkish Dance Sports Federation. He placed 4th in Europe in 2017 and became World Runner-up in 2020. In 2024, he achieved 2nd place in the Salsanama Turkey Social Couple Pro category and became the Turkish champion. For him, dance has become not only a performing art but a way of life. Berkay Çelik is currently continuing his teaching career at Vedans.
